Secretly, we all want to to be able to amaze our friends with magic.
Let me show a simple trick with matches, and in a few weeks I'll show you how its done!
So how did it all begin? What was it that inspired me? Well, it all began in my childhood and with an early fascination with TV magic. One of the first tricks I ever saw involved nothing more than a bank note and a piece of silk which I reproduce here in a short video!
The evening began with a meal and some enlightening talks from some very clever people. Over 100 business people were there for whom we were due to perform stage magic. But, nothing ever goes exactly to plan does it?
Next week, we’re off to a venue we’ve not performed in before. It’s The Cube Canalside in Birmingham and we’re thrilled to have been invited to do a little stage magic at a private event hosted by Aston University.
It was nice to catch the David Blaine show this month at The Arena Birmingham. The strapline to his show is ‘Magic or Real’. It’s a great title that leaves people wondering just that. Lots of gore, great stunts and magic. Respect!
Everybody loves a great wedding and this was a lovely day performing magic in Buckinghamshire at a place called the Tudor Barn. Here is a little clip of me smoking . . . and doing some magic with one of many cigarettes in the gardens that day!
Claudine and I chilling out after 2 hours of close up magic for a private function at the Cumberland Hotel, Bournemouth. A lovely ambience to this venue and we always love Chandeliers – well take a look at our stage show and you will see why!
It was a pleasure to meet Dutch Illusionist Hans Klok again this year. We have long been admirers of Hans’ work having first seen one of his shows many years ago. His shows are what we consider to be real live entertainment and extremely professionally staged.
